In the natural hair care world, moisture is KING! Before any product graces our strands, water is the first port of call. I don’t know about you but in my time I’ve run through a dozen spray bottles that either stopped working altogether or started spurting water jets aggressively. While perusing youtube for my next natural hairstyle fix, I stumbled on the Macdaddy of spray bottles that spoke to my soul and I never plan on going back! I know you see this fine mist action so let’s jump into the review!

What is it for and how does it work?

This bottle is marketed as a multi-purpose spray bottle. Great for misting hair, watering plants, cleaning… you can even use it on your pet. So it’s a multi-tasking queen, but what makes it stand out?

It’s all in the nozzle. Unlike most spray bottles, this one delivers a continuous fine mist of water that lasts for 2 seconds on one pump. This is what makes it stand out from the rest. Now continuous doesn’t mean non-stop. You get 2 seconds of continual spray time – which is more than enough.

The advantage of the fine mist is that each strand receives a healthy dose of water, which means when it comes to applying your products, you already have a solid first layer of moisture to build on. Great for those who use either the LOC or LCO method.

Moisture so good it’ll have you feeling like this.

Pro’s and Con’s

Is it really worth the hype?

So with all that said is it worth your coins? If you haven’t already guessed it, yes, and here’s why…

Better coverage

Since you get a steady stream of mist, it allows you to move the bottle around to cover more of your head with less finger fatigue. Anyone who has ever used a cheap spray bottle on a thick head of hair knows all too well about finger fatigue! I can’t tell you how much easier it has been styling hair with this spray bottle.

You’re in Control

Detangling, moisturising and applying products has been a dream. It allows me to effectively control just how drenched I want my hair. On the days when I want a light refresher, one or two pumps will do for a light mist. When I’m going through a full conditioning routine, I can layer the moisture with as many pumps as I need.

Sleek Design

Everyone loves a practical and pretty product, but we don’t always get both. This is an exception. It is ergonomically designed so that it sits comfortably within the grooves of your hands, small enough to fit into a decent-sized bag or handbag and sleek enough to share the spotlight on your dressing table.

Final Thoughts

If you haven’t guessed it already, I’m a full convert. After owning and using it for over 6 months now, so far I am very impressed! I haven’t experienced any leakage while using it or any blocked nozzle… which may partly be because I’ve stuck to just using water in it.

I know just shy of £10 is quite steep for a spray bottle, but honestly, I think the longevity of this one far outweighs the price point and realistically I’ve probably spent near that amount or more replacing others.

Don’t want to mist out? (Sorry, I couldn’t help myself)
